149 new COVID cases in Pune city, Check areawise patients in Pune
Pune, May 19, 2020: Till 8 pm today, a total of 149 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Also, 110 people were discharged from hospitals while eight people died. The total number of COVID patients in Pune has reached 3747 now.
According to the PMC health department, out of 3747 patients, 1910 have been cured while 207 have died till now. There are still 1630 active patients admitted to various hospitals. They include 156 critical patients including 43 who are on ventilator support. Today PMC took swab samples of 1459 people for COVID testing. Till now samples of 33795 people have been collected in Pune city.
The deaths included four men and four women, who were in the age group of 50 to 79 years. They were residents of Bhaji Mandai in Yerwada, Lohiyanagar, Vaiduwadi, Bhagyodaynagar in Kondhwa, Parnkuti in Yerwada, Saibabanagar in Kondhwa, Mangalwar Peth and Yerwada.
