15 Injured in Bus-Truck Collision on Mumbai-Pune Expressway Near Khopoli
Khopoli, 9th November 2024: A terrible accident occurred this morning on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway (officially Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway). The incident took place near Khopoli around 4 a.m. A private bus travelling from Kolhapur to Mumbai collided with a stationary truck after the driver reportedly lost control.
The police were immediately notified and rushed to the scene to begin rescue operations. The accident left 15 people injured, with eight in critical condition. The critically injured passengers were transferred to Mumbai for treatment, where doctors have started immediate care due to the severity of their conditions.
