Pune: Mukul Kala Mahotsav on November 14 for Young Artists
Pune, 9th November 2024: Kalavardhini Charitable Trust, along with Arundhati Patwardhan, is organizing the Mukul Kala Mahotsav, an art festival dedicated to young artists. The event will take place on November 14 at 6 p.m. at the Bal Shikshan Mandir Auditorium, Mayur Colony, Kothrud.
Esteemed guests, including senior dance guru Dr. Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar and senior harmonium artist Sharangdhar Sathe, who is also the director of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Performing Arts, will be attending as chief guests.
The festival will feature a range of performances, including Pakhawaj recitals by the disciples of Krishna Salunke, singing by Aarushi Joshi, daughter and disciple of renowned tabla player Ajinkya Joshi and vocalist Gayatri Joshi, Kathak dance by Riya Gokhale, daughter and disciple of Kathak dancer Payal Gokhale, Sattriya dance by the disciples of Dr. Devika Borthakur, and Bharatanatyam by the disciples of Anuja Bathe.
This festival is free and open to all.
