15 Seized Vehicles Caught Fire Near Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Station

Pimpri, November 10, 2020: A fire broke out in the parking of seized vehicles at Pimpri Police Station on Monday evening. The incident took place around 3.15 pm in which 13 cars and two auto-rickshaws were burnt to ashes. Three fire tenders of Pimpri-Chinchwad fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

According to the police, hundreds of seized vehicles are parked in the parking of Pimpri police station. A total of 15 vehicles, including 13 four-wheelers and two rickshaws, were gutted in the blaze by the time the fire brigade reached the spot. It took around 40 mins for the firefighters to extinguish the fire.

The fire was brought under control in time and did not spread elsewhere. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
