However a day before Christmas on December 24 Ali called Joseph to inform that Nicolas had allegedly committed suicide and they went absconding. Joseph immediately alerted Delhi Police but Ali and Ritu but could not be found.
Police reached Ali’s friend whose number Nicolas had used to call his grandfather few days before his mother. This friend helped locate the rented room in Fursungi on Saturday night.
