1508 new COVID patients in Pune city, 41 deaths today
Pune, July 19, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 730 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1508 new patients were detected while 41 people died PMC COVID deaths report. Today swab samples of 3815 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 37,386 out of which 22611 have been cured while 976 have died. There are still 13799 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 557 critical patients out of which 94 are on ventilator support.
In Maharashtra, a total of 3906 patients were discharged while 9518 new Covid-19 cases were reported today. 258 COVID-19 deaths were reported in the state. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state is 3,10,455. As of today, there are 1,28,730 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 54.62% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.82%.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,077,618 across the country. Out of this, 677,422 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 26,816 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 373,379 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
