175 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 95,784 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 3rd December 2021: A total of 175 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 189 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 95,784 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,34,83,021. About 82,28,191 people have got the first dose while 52,54,830 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1912 active patients in the district and 650 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1262 are in home isolation. Out of 185 new cases, 84 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 39 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 02 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 47 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, one was in PMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 189 discharged patients, 99 were in PMC, 44 were in PCMC, 03 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 40 were in rural areas.
