1817 new COVID patients in Pune city, 29 deaths today
Pune, July 20, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 830 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1817 new patients were detected while 29 people died PMC COVID deaths report. Today swab samples of 6918 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 39,203 out of which 23441 have been cured while 1005 have died. There are still 14757 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 591 critical patients out of which 96 are on ventilator support.
In Maharashtra, a total of 5460 patients were discharged while 8240 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 176 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.77%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,18,695 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,118,043 across the country. Out of this, 7,00,086 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 27,497 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 390,459 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
