2 men arrested with 45 Russell’s viper, 70 cobra snakes in Chakan

Pune – Sleuths from the Pune rural police have arrested two persons in Chakan and have seized 45 Russell’s viper and 70 Cobra snakes along with 25gm venom.

The accused persons were staying in same flat where the snakes were kept. Police suspect them to be part of smuggling racket.

Police officials said that the accused lived with wife in the 2 BHK flat for the last two years.
