Pune, 25th April 2024: While the news of the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya had led to celebrations all across the country, what has also come into light is the phenomenal impact the construction of the temple has had on the city’s real estate. The prices of land in and around Ayodhya have skyrocketed. Reports indicate that prices of the properties have gone up by 5 to 10 times in the last few years, ever since the construction of the temple had started. With lakhs and lakhs of tourists expected to visit the temple now, the city is all set to experience a real estate boom. Roads, hotels, hospitals and many more facilities are coming up to cater to their needs. Yes, it’s real estate development that is happening there.
The story of Pune is no different either. The city has seen sharp growth in real estate ever since it had turned into an IT hub. Areas like Aundh, Baner, Wakad, Kalyani Nagar, Kharadi started flourishing only after the nearby IT parks came up. With more and more development happening in infrastructure, Pune is also set to experience an exponential growth. The city’s residential market witnessed a tremendous growth in demand in the 4th quarter of 2023.
