Pune: Pawar Family’s Display of Solidarity: Parth and Rohit Pawar Unite in Hinjawadi Yatra
Hinjawadi, 25th April 2024: MLA Rohit Pawar, known for his earlier statement vowing to avenge the defeat of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth, in Maval, surprisingly joined Parth Pawar in the Bagad Yatra in Hinjawadi on Tuesday (23rd April) night. Despite the political rivalry, the third generation of the Pawar family appeared united as Parth and Rohit Pawar shook hands while boarding the cart, seemingly supporting each other amidst the crowd, sending a message of solidarity.
Following the split within the NCP, tensions between Sharad Pawar and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar have escalated. Sunetra Pawar, Ajit Pawar’s wife, is contesting from Baramati against Sharad Pawar’s daughter, MP Supriya Sule. Despite this, the entire Pawar family appears to be rallying behind Supriya Sule, leading to speculation of Ajit Pawar’s isolation within the family and accusations flying within the Pawar clan.
Rohit Pawar visited Pimpri-Chinchwad city on Tuesday to submit the nomination form of Sanjog Waghere, the Mahavikas Aghadi candidate from Maval. He remarked, “Deputy Chief Minister Ajit is now supporting the one who defeated my brother, Parth, trying to come to terms with many things.” However, Rohit’s ironic statement hinted at his intent to avenge Parth’s loss.
Later that evening, Parth and Rohit Pawar were spotted together during the Bagad Yatra in Hinjawadi, heading towards the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency. As they boarded the cart, Parth extended his hand to Rohit, and both shared smiles amidst the bustling crowd, reinforcing the notion of a resilient family bond despite political discord. Videos and photographs capturing this moment have since circulated widely on social media platforms.
