247 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 25,469 Vaccine Doses Administered  

Pune, 10th November 2021: A total of 247 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 259 people were discharged from hospitals. 05 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 25,469 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,22,60,275. About 78,82,347 people have got the first dose while 43,77,928 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2090 active patients in the district and 1213 of them are admitted to hospitals while 877 are in home isolation. Out of 247 new cases, 83 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 48 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 09 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 05 in cantonments, and 102 in rural areas.

Among the 05 deaths, two were in PMC, one was in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and one was in rural areas. Out of 259 discharged patients, 71 were in PMC, 44 were in PCMC, 17 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 124 were in rural areas.
