25-Year-Old Girl Dies By Suicide At FTII Pune
Pune, 1st September 2022: A 25-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Law College Road, today.
The deceased girl has been identified as Kamakshi Bohra (25), a native of Uttarakhand. After this incident came to light this morning, once again there is an atmosphere of fear in FTII. Recently, another student was found dead on the campus and it is suspected that he also died by suicide.
According to the information received, as Kamakshi did not attend the lecture today, the professor asked some students to go to the room where she was staying. Kamakshi was found hanging. Pune city police’s Deccan Gymkhana police station is investigating the case.
Last month, a young man committed suicide in FTII due to depression. Now, this is the second incident.
