25,000 Youths Apply For 400 Job Posts With Pune Zilla Parishad’s Health Department
Pune, 12th September 2021: About 25,000 job aspirants have applied for the 400 posts with the health department of Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP). Now the ZP will select candidates based on written tests and interviews. The exam will be conducted in October 2021.
ZP had issued a notification to fill the posts which are vacant for the last two to three years. Considering the huge number of applications, the ZP has decided to hold a written exam and an interview round. For this, it will take help from the school education department and exams will be held at various primary and secondary schools.
ZP Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad has ordered officials to inspect the schools and make preparations for the exams.
Dr Bhagwan Pawar, district health officer from Zilla Parishad said that there are 250 posts for auxiliary nurse midwife (ANM) and 150 multipurpose worker (MPW). There are 96 primary health centres and 539 health sub-centres of Zilla Parishad in the district. Earlier a recruitment drive was held in 2019, but the government put a stay on it. Now that the stay has been lifted and we are again recruiting the staff. Considering the huge number of applications we will hold a written exam and interview round for the recruitment of health employees.
