279 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 10,189 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 3rd November 2021: A total of 279 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 337 people were discharged from hospitals. 05 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 10,189 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,21,47,902. About 78,55,781 people have got the first dose while 42,92,121 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2287 active patients in the district and 1279 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1008 are in home isolation. Out of 279 new cases, 98 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 58 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 20 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 02 in cantonments, and 101 in rural areas.
Among the 05 deaths, two were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 337 discharged patients, 69 were in PMC, 84 were in PCMC, 27 were in municipal councils, 0 were in cantonments, and 157 were in rural areas.
