3 women rescued from prostitution in Viman Nagar
Pune – Three women from Sikkim and New Delhi have been rescued by Pune city police from prostitution racket in Sanjay Park, Viman Nagar, on Saturday. Police have arrested one accused, while search is on for three other agents.
The social security cell (SSC) conducted the raid at Shri Krishna Inn lodge in Sanjay Park, Viman Nagar.
According to police, the accused persons used to book rooms and call customers there. Police have arrested Prashant Machhindra Patil (42) of Jalgaon district. The wanted agents are Karan Sharma, Yogi alias Monty Patel and Dinesh.
A case has been registered against them with Airport police station. Police seized their mobile phones.
