365 new Corona patients in Pune district, tally reaches 11,925

Pune, June 14, 2020: With the addition of 365 fresh Coronavirus positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 11,925 in Pune district. Also, 162 patients got discharged from hospitals while 13 people died.

 

Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 11,925 patients 7619 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 498 people have died. There are still 3808 active patients undergoing treatment including 243 critical patients. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 110,641 people have been tested in the district.

 

The 11,925 patients include 9764 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1145 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 427 from Pune Cantonment, 62 from Khadki Cantonment, 4 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 523 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 9 from Baramati town, 13 from Baramati rural, 77 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 7 from Talegaon Dabhade, 6 from Chakan, 3 from Saswad, 2 from Alandi, 2 from Lonavala,1 from Shirur town, 139 from Haveli, 25 from Shirur, 32  from Junnar, 34 from Khed, 25 from Mulshi, 33 from Velha, 17 from Bhor, 5 from Indapur, 3 from Daund rural, 29 from Maval, 13 from Purandar and 44 from Ambegaon.

 

Across Maharashtra, there were 3390 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 107,958 . Also, 120 people died while 1632 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 53,017 active cases. The total death toll stands at 3950, while 53,017 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 320,922 across the country. Out of this, 162,378 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 9,195 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 149,348 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
