Sushant Singh Rajput suicide: Now Karan Johar says “I blame myself”

Mumbai, June 14, 2020: Sushant Singh Rajput, the 34-year-old actor who brought Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s character on screen, is no more. He was found dead in a flat in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday. Not only Bollywood, the entire nation is shocked by the suicide of the actor. He was in depression for the last six months. It is being said that some film producers and directors were trying to scuttle his career.

Now film director Karan Johar has posted on his Instagram, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ….”

According to reports, Sushant’s funeral is scheduled to take place in Mumbai tomorrow and his father will come to Mumbai. Earlier it was being said that the body of Sushant could be sent to his native place Patna in Bihar for the last rites.

Suicide within an hour?
It is coming out in some reports that Sushant was given juice by his domestic help at 9.30 am. An hour later, when the servant went to ask for food, he did not open the door. During this time only three people were present in the house. A servant, Sushant’s friend who is a Creative Manager and another person. After this, Sushant’s sister was called and then a keymaker was called. The body was found in the room around 1 pm.

Sushant had last called his friend. Who was he and what was the time to call? The police has not given any information about this. Sources say that Sushant was in depression for the last six months and was taking medicines.

His body has been taken to Cooper Hospital. A team of three doctors will do their postmortem.

When his fans came to know about Sushant’s suicide, they reached his house. A crowd of people was seen outside the gate.

Last post was written on June 3, missed mother
Sushant made his last social media post on 3 June. In this Instagram post, he wrote, remembering mother that life has no place. However, Sushant, who posted such emotional messages on social media, played a very strong character in the 2019 film Chhichhore. In the film, he became a father who narrates stories of himself and friends’ failure to overcome his son, who tried to commit suicide.

Wishlist 50 dreams
Sushant was born in Patna, Bihar. In early 2000 his family settled in Delhi. He has 4 sisters. One of them is Mitu, a state-level cricketer. The steps Sushant took were exactly the opposite. He released a wishlist of his 50 dreams and wishes some time back. Like – going to CERN one day. The European Organization for Nuclear Research is known as CERN. Sushant was also the topper in studies. He scored 7th rank in 2003 in Delhi College of Engineering Entrance Examination.

Sushant started his career as a backup dancer. His first serial on TV was Balaji Telefilms ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil’. In this, he played the role of Preet Juneja. After this, he gained fame with the serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. He also appeared on the dance reality show Zara Nach Ke Dikha 2 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. His last release film was Eye Drive on Netflix. This year his film Dil Bechara was is going to be released.
