378 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 62,817 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 62,817 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,08,29,429. About 72,76,942 people have got the first dose while 35,52,487 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 5808 active patients in the district and 2469 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3339 are in home isolation. Out of 378 new cases, 125 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 55 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 30 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 05 in cantonments, and 163 in rural areas.
Among the 05 deaths, two were in PMC, three were in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 564 discharged patients, 118 were in PMC, 43 were in PCMC, 55 were in municipal councils, 02 were in cantonments, and 346 were in rural areas.
