38 Special Trains Will Run On These Routes For Diwali-Dussehra

Mumbai, October 18, 2020: Indian Railways has decided to run more special trains in October in view of the festive season. In this context, Western Railway said that in view of Dussehra and Diwali, 19 special trains will be run for the convenience of passengers.

Giving information via tweet, Western Railway (WR) said that these 19 pair special trains will run from Bandra Terminus, Indore, Udhna, Okha, Porbandar, Gandhidham, Pune, Dadar stations. According to the railways, all these trains will be fully reserved.

To clear the rush during the forthcoming festive season, Western Railway will run 156 trips of 12 more Festival Special trains to various destinations.

All of these trains will run as fully reserved trains. Booking has started for these special trains.

According to the information given by the railways, all these special trains will have special fare. These trains will be fully reserved and booking for them will be between 17 to 22 October. At the same time, safety rules have to be followed during the journey.

To clear the rush during the forthcoming festive season of Dussehra & Diwali, Western Railway will run 216 trips of 7 more Festival Special trains to various destinations.

392 festival special trains will run between 20th October to 30th November

Indian Railways has announced to run 196 pairs i.e. 392 special trains in the festive season. These will be run under the name of festival special trains. During Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja special trains will be running to Kolkata, Patna, Varanasi, Lucknow and other places to cater to the increasing demand of travellers due to holidays. These festival special trains will run only from 20 October to 30 November.
