4 People From Pune Killed In Road Accident On Yamuna Expressway In Noida
Noida, 12th May 2022: Five people including four from Pune have been killed in a tragic accident on the Yamuna Expressway. The dead included four women.
According to police, the accident took place at around 5 am at a distance of 40 km from Jawar Toll plaza. The vehicle (Bolero) they were traveling in hit a dumper truck from behind. All were rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the accident. Five people were declared dead and two others hailing from Baramati in Pune are undergoing treatment at Kailash Hospital.
The deceased persons have been identified as Chandrakant Burade (68), Swarna Burade (59), Malan Kumbhar (68) and Ranjana Pawar (60) from Pune and Nuvanjan Mujawar (53) from Karnataka.
Police suspect that the accident happened due to the driver falling asleep. Police have seized the truck.
No complaint has been lodged in this regard yet. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after their arrival.
