418 new Corona patients in Pune district, tally reaches 10,812

Pune, June 11, 2020: With the addition of 418 fresh Coronavirus positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 10,812 in Pune district. Also, 230 patients got discharged from hospitals while 11 people died.

 

Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 10,812 patients 6912 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 460 people have died. There are still 3440 active patients undergoing treatment including 255 critical patients. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 102,218  people have been tested in the district.

 

The 10,812 patients include 8893 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1015 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 388 from Pune Cantonment, 52 from Khadki Cantonment, 4 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 460 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 9 from Baramati town, 13 from Baramati rural, 68 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 2 from Talegaon Dabhade, 5 from Chakan, 1 from Saswad, 1 from Alandi, 2 from Lonavala,1 from Shirur town, 122 from Haveli, 22 from Shirur, 31  from Junnar, 32 from Khed, 23 from Mulshi, 33 from Velha, 17 from Bhor, 5 from Indapur, 2 from Daund rural, 16 from Maval, 10  from Purandar and 44 from Ambegaon.

 

Across Maharashtra, there were 3607 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 97,648 . Also, 152 people died while 1561 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 47,968 active cases. The total death toll stands at 3590, while 46,078 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 286,579 across the country. Out of this, 141,028 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 8102 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 137,448 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
