435 new Corona patients in Pune district, tally reaches 10,394

Pune, June 10, 2020: With the addition of 435 fresh Coronavirus positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 10,394 in Pune district. Also, 302 patients got discharged from hospitals while 7 people died.

Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 10,394 patients 6682 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 449 people have died. There are still 3263 active patients undergoing treatment including 249 critical patients. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 99598  people have been tested in the district.

The 10394 patients include 8601 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 918 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 382 from Pune Cantonment, 49 from Khadki Cantonment, 4 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 440 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 9 from Baramati town, 13 from Baramati rural, 60 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 2 from Talegaon Dabhade, 5 from Chakan, 1 from Saswad, 2 from Lonavala,1 from Shirur town, 115 from Haveli, 22 from Shirur, 30  from Junnar, 31 from Khed, 22 from Mulshi, 33 from Velha, 17 from Bhor, 5 from Indapur, 2 from Daund rural, 14 from Maval, 10  from Purandar and 44 from Ambegaon.

Across Maharashtra, there were 3254 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 94,041 . Also, 149 people died while 1879 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 46,074 active cases. The total death toll stands at 3438, while 44,517 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 276,583 across the country. Out of this, 135,205 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 7745 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 133,632 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
