Shocking: 48 fresh COVID patients from Akurdi among 89 total cases in PCMC

Pimpri, June 10, 2020: Till 9:55 pm, a total of 89 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported from different parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) today. Also, 22 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured. The number of corona patients in Pimpri-Chinchwad has been increasing rapidly in the last few days.

 

The new patients include 48 from Akurdi, 4 from Chinchwad, 6 from Kalewadi , 8 from Bhosari, 9 from Pimpri, 9 from Wakad, 1 from Thergaon, 1 from Sangvi, 1 from Dapodi, 1 from Pimple Saudagar , and 1 from Chikhali.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 932 out of which 507 have been cured while 16 have died. There are still 409 active patients including 20 who are admitted in hospitals outside PCMC. Out of 130 non-PCMC patients, 19 have died while 75 have been cured and remaining 36 are undergoing treatment.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 8509 out of which 5575 have been cured while 406 have died. There are still 2528 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 214 critical patients out of which 43 are on ventilator support. Till now 64444 people have been tested in Pune city.

 

Across Maharashtra, there were 3254 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 94,041 . Also, 149 people died while 1879 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 46,074 active cases. The total death toll stands at 3438, while 44,517 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 276,583 across the country. Out of this, 135,205 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 7745 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 133,632 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
