458 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 39,866 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 39,866 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,11,43,985. About 73,96,604 people have got the first dose while 37,47,381 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 5358 active patients in the district and 2554 of them are admitted to hospitals while 2804 are in home isolation. Out of 458 new cases, 118 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 72 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 27 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 06 in cantonments, and 235 in rural areas.
Among the 07 deaths, two were in PMC, two were in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and two was in rural areas. Out of 557 discharged patients, 183 were in PMC, 77 were in PCMC, 27 were in municipal councils, 11 were in cantonments, and 259 were in rural areas.
