49th All India Ordnance and ordnance equipment Factories Annual Athletic Meet to be held in Khadki

Pune, February 11,2020: Ammunition Factory, Khadki, Ministry of Defence, Organizes 49th All India Ordnance and ordnance equipment Factories Annual Athletic Meet 2019-2020. Under the Aegis of Ordnance Factories Sports Promotion Board, Kolkata.

Ammunition Factory, Khadki Pune under the leadership of Shri Manoj Kumar Mohpatra, Sr. General Manager is organizing 49th All India Ordnance & Ordnance equipment Factories Annual Athletic Meet 2019-2020, under the aegis of Ordnance Factories Sports Promotion Board, Kolkata. This meet will be conducted from 14th to 16th February 2020 at Ammunition Factory Khadki, Sports Complex, Ordnance Estate, Khadki, Pune. All 41 Ordnance Factories in the country will be participating in 37 Athletic events of different categories from 14th to 16th February 2020. Major attraction are 100, 200, 400 mtrs. Race, Long Jump, Pole vault etc. Around 450 participants & officials are expected to attend the Athletic meet.

The opening ceremony of this 49thAthletic Meet will be held on 14thFebruary 2020 at Ammunition Factory Khadki, Sports Complex, Ordnance Estate, Khadki, Pune. Shri Hari Mohan, DGOF and Chairman Ordnance Factory Board has consented to be the Chief Guest for this event. Shri C. S. Vishwakarma, Member OFB will be the guest of honour of the opening ceremony & other senior dignitaries of OFB and other factories will be gracing the occasion.

Smt. Neelam Mohan, President, All India Ordnance Factory Women’s Welfare Association, Kolkata & Smt. Anju Mohapatra, President, Ordnance Factory Women’s Welfare Association, Khadki Branch will give prizes to winners during the Closing ceremony on 16thFebruary 2020 at 15.00 hrs.
