The movie will be released at the height of IPL 2022, which seems fitting, given the genre of the movie. However, the Indian public may not be too interested in watching Jersey in theaters, when they have the live IPL 2022 to follow at home, and also several Indian betting sites to place wagers on the tournament.
2. Bachchan Pandey
Akshay Kumar has been giving some really great hits in the last few years, and 2022 seems to be no different. Kumar is back with Bachchan Pandey, an action-comedy with a great ensemble cast. Kriti Sanon plays a young filmmaker who wants to make a movie about the famous gangster Bachchan Pandey.
The film follows the hilarious and dangerous antics of the gangster when he catches the young girl following him around.
3. Laal Singh Chaddha
Aamir Khan has been missing from the silver screen for a while now, but 2022 promises the release of the highly anticipated project by the actor, Laal Singh Chaddha. S. S. Rajamouli is the titan film director that gave us Baahubali, so it is not very surprising that his next venture, RRR, is one of the most awaited movies of 2022.
The movie will follow a fictional story about the lives of two revolutionaries who fought the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad in order to win freedom for India. The two main roles will be essayed by N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan. Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will be seen in two extended cameo roles.
5. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been in the works for a while, with a great ensemble cast leading the movie. Kartik Aaryan will be playing the role of Dr. Neil Bhosale, who will be at the center of this horror-comedy, with Tabu playing the role of Vedika/Manjulika.
Much like the first movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be exploring the story and legend of Manjulika, but with enough twists and turns to make it new for the audience. The movie also stars many veteran comedians and supporting actors.
