Pune, 23rd September 2025: The Robotex India National Championship 2025, hosted at MIT-ADT University, concluded with a powerful display of innovation and inclusion. Fourteen teams comprising more than 50 government school students won podium positions, earning the honour of representing India at Robotex International 2025 in Estonia.

One of India’s largest and most inclusive STEM, AI, and Robotics platforms, the championship brought together over 5,000 students from 16+ states. Remarkably, nearly half of them hailed from government, rural, and tribal schools—underscoring Robotex India’s mission to democratise access to future-ready skills. More than 500 robots were showcased across categories such as Girls Firefighting, Line Follower, Entrepreneurship Challenge, Mini Sumo, and Folk Race, with students developing solutions for real-world challenges in agriculture, healthcare, disaster management, and environmental sustainability.

From rural areas of Maharashtra in Phaltan, Aurangabad to UT’s of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, to Kendriya Vidyalayas in New Delhi and Dehradun, and from the remote landscapes of Ladakh to classrooms in Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai, young innovators from the most diverse geographies stood shoulder to shoulder, proving that talent knows no postcode.

The champions were supported by leading corporate social responsibility initiatives including STL’s RoboEdge Program, BMC India’s Girls Who Build Robots, ZS India and Globant India’s Robotex for Rural, WNS Cares Foundation, BNY Mellon’s STEM Robotics AI Labs, EY Foundation, Leadership For Equity, Himalayan School Society, and FICCI FLO Pune.

“Each of these young innovators carries the aspirations of millions of children who are often left behind in the technology race. Their journey from village schools to the global arena is not just a story of skill but of resilience, vision, and equality,” said Payal Rajpal, Director of Robotex India.
