515 Entries for Yonex Sunrise Deccan Gymkhana & SBA Cup District Super 100 Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025
Pune, 24th December 2025:A total of 515 players from Pune district will be seen in action at the Yonex Sunrise Deccan Gymkhana & SBA Cup District Super 100 Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025, which is being organised by Sudhanshu Badminton Academy (SBA) with the support of Deccan Gymkhana. The tournament will be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Badminton Courts from December 25 to 28, 2025.
Speaking about the event, Mr. Sudhanshu Medsikar, Tournament Secretary, said, “The high number of entries reflects the growing interest and depth of grassroots badminton in the district. With the strong support of Deccan Gymkhana, we are committed to providing a well-organised and competitive platform where young players can showcase their talent.”
The tournament will be conducted under the auspices of the Pune District Badminton Association. Matches will be held in Boys’ and Girls’ Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 age groups in singles and doubles categories. In addition, Men’s Singles and Doubles and Men’s 30+ Singles categories will also be contested.
Several prominent district players have confirmed their participation, including Malhar Bhosale, Raavi Kadam, Archit Khandeshe, Keyara Sakhare, Siddharth Samant, Aarohi Desai, Anvay Samag, Nishtha Bhandari, Eshaan Lagu, Labha Marathe, Karthik Dinesh, and Ninad Kulkarni, who are expected to provide exciting competition during the four-day event.
