573 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 95,318 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 95,318 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,07,33,810. About 72,35,162 people have got the first dose while 34,98,648 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6141 active patients in the district and 2660 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3481 are in home isolation. Out of 573 new cases, 171 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 99 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 44 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments, and 247 in rural areas.
Among the 09 deaths, two were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and five were in rural areas. Out of 652 discharged patients, 131 were in PMC, 81 were in PCMC, 75 were in municipal councils, 05 were in cantonments, and 360 were in rural areas.
