58 players for Third Edition of PYC Snooker & Billiards League 2026
Pune, 13th August 2026: A total of 58 players will represent 5 teams in the Third Edition of PYC Snooker & Billiards League 2026 that will be organised by the PYC Hindu Gymkhana and will be played at PYC Snooker & Billiards Hall from 16th and 22nd August 2026.
“We at the PYC host various leagues in different sports. For the Third time in a row, we are hosting a Snooker & Billiards league for its members.” Mr. Kumar Tamhane, President of PYC Hindu Gymkhana said.
“We already host seven leagues in cricket, badminton, football, basketball, chess, Table Tennis, Pickleball, swimming and carrom. We prioritize the health and recreation of the members. A Snooker & Billiards league will provide another platform for our members to come together and bond over a sport,” Mr. Deepak Gadgil, Secretary of the club said.
Mr. Nandan Dongre, Secretary of Snooker & Billiards Dept. further added that, The players were selected via auction. Yogesh Lohia was brought by Cue Masters for 6700pts.
The five teams are: Badamikar Stars (owned by Siddhart Badamikar), Skyline Strikers (Ameya Joshi), TP Rockets (Tushar Mengale, Prashant Kulkarni), Supreme Aces(Sanjiv Patel), Cue Masters(owned by Amir Ajgaonkar).
A tournament committee comprising of Nandan Dongre, Abhishek Tamhane, Karna Mehta, Ranjit Pande, has been formed for the smooth conduct of the event.
