600 players from all over India for 2nd JK’s Excellence Chess Academy One Day Rapid Chess Tournament
Pune, 13th December 2024: A total 600 players from all over India will be seen in action at JK’s Excellence Chess Academy One Day Rapid Chess Tournament which is being organized by JK’s Excellence Chess Academy under the aegis of FIDE, AICF, MCA, PDCC will be conducted at Gulmohar Banquets Hall, Abhiruchi Mall, Sinhgad Road on 15th December 2024.
IA FI Juliy Kulkarni, Tournament Director said that, The total prize money is Rs.4,00,000/- for this event. The event will be played under Swiss league format in 9th round with the Latest FIDE rules applicable. The event will see 600 Chess Players which included rated player from Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamilnadu, Railway, Bihar Daman, Punjab. The event is supported by Chesslover Group.
Prominent players who have confirmed there entries for the event include rated players GM Mitrabha Guha(2461), GM Sriram Jha(2294), GM Laxman RR(2256), IM Arghyadip Das(2305), FM Suyog Wagh(2277), IM Krishna CRG(2268), IM Sammed Shete(2253), IM Himan Gussain(2199), IM Vikramaditya Kulkarni (2122), IM Abhishek Kelkar(2115).
IA Rajendra Shidore is chief arbiter and IA Atharva Godbole Deputy chief arbiter of this tournament.
