645 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 1,02,013 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 21st September 2021: A total of 645 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 605 people were discharged from hospitals. 08 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

 

Today, A total of 1,02,013 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 99,00,808. About 68,82,673 people have got the first dose while 30,18,135 people have got two doses.

 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 7003 active patients in the district and 2773 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4230 are in home isolation. Out of 645 new cases, 159 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 107 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 67 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 09 in cantonments, and 303 in rural areas.

 

Among the 08 deaths, four were in PMC, two were in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and one was in rural areas. Out of 605 discharged patients, 130 were in PMC, 83 were in PCMC, 39 were in municipal councils, 5 were in cantonments, and 348 were in rural areas.
