66 special trains carrying 86590 passengers left Pune division

Pune, May 19, 2020: Till now 66 special trains carrying 86,590 passengers from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir have departed from districts in Pune division, said Deepak Mhaisekar, Divisional Commissioner.

 

According to Mhaisekar, a total of 66 trains carrying 86,590 passengers have left Pune division including 15 for Madhya Pradesh, 29 for Uttar Pradesh, 29 for Uttarakhand, 2 for Tamil Nadu, 5 for Rajasthan, 8 for Bihar, 1 for Himachal Pradesh, 2 for Jharkhand, 2 for Chhattisgarh, 1 for Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Also on 20th May, a total of 8 trains are planned from Pune division, 4 for Uttar Pradesh, 3 for Bihar and 1 for Chhattisgarh, in which a total of 11 thousand 324 passengers are expected. Out of these, 3 trains from Pune station to Uttar Pradesh and one train to Chhattisgarh are planned with 5 thousand 417 passengers. A train with 1,456 passengers is planned from Satara railway station to Uttar Pradesh. There is one train from Sangli station to Bihar with 1539 passengers and 2 trains from Kolhapur station to Bihar with 2912 passengers.

 

76294 passengers have gone to their native village by 5871 buses from Pune division. Also 5708 passengers have arrived in Pune division by 289 buses. The concerned district administration, police unit, concerned tehsil office and railway department officials and employees are playing a vital role in planning the travel of these citizens, Mhaisekar said.
