This patient is originally from Nashik, and he came to Pune on November 6. Before that, the health department informed that the patient had gone to Surat.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken disease control measures in the Bavdhan area. Houses in the patient’s area were surveyed, but no suspected patient was found. House-to-house surveys and container surveys were done for mosquito breeding in this area. The origin of the Aedes mosquito has not been detected in this area.

Zika is a virus that spreads from one person to another from mosquitoes such as dengue and chikungunya. If said mosquito bites a pregnant woman, it will affect the unborn child. This results in insufficient brain growth. In this, children may bear small head sizes, Guillain Barre syndrome, and neurological disease.

The symptoms of the disease are redness of the eyes, severe headache, fever, joint pain, body ache, headache, vomiting, discomfort, red spots, and others. People who are suffering from this virus need plenty of rest.
