765 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 91,239 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 1st October 2021: A total of 765 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 624 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 91,239 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,06,35,704. About 71,94,687 people have got the first dose while 34,41,017 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6229 active patients in the district and 2723 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3506 are in home isolation. Out of 765 new cases, 155 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 136 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 37 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments, and 425 in rural areas.

Among the 06 deaths, two were in PMC, three were in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 624 discharged patients, 138 were in PMC, 103 were in PCMC, 67 were in municipal councils, 13 were in cantonments, and 303 were in rural areas.
