8 Passengers Injured As Bus Hits Into Trailer On Pune-Mumbai Expressway

Khopoli, 30 August 2021: A passenger bus going towards Mumbai on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway rammed into a trailer ahead of it resulting in injuries to eight passengers.

The accident took place around 6 am today near kilometre 39. Rescue teams reached the spot and rushed the injured to a hospital for treatment. The traffic was affected for some time at the spot.

Police said that the 45-seater bus belonged to Maharaja Travels. The accident took place as the driver lost control over the wheels.
