817 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 973 Discharged Today
Pune, 12th July 2021: A total of 817 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 973 people were discharged from hospitals. 14 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,403 active patients in the district and 5802 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4601 are in home isolation. Out of 817 new cases, 189 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 204 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 72 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 06 in cantonments, and 346 in rural areas.
Among the 14 deaths, four were in PMC, three in PCMC, 1 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad) and six in rural areas. Out of 973 discharged patients, 279 were in PMC, 226 were in PCMC, 97 in municipal councils, 7 in cantonments, and 364 in rural areas.
