832 new COVID patients detected in Pune city, 9 deaths

Pune, July 13, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 614 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 832 new patients were detected while 9 patients died (see below). Today swab samples of 5168 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 28,357 out of which 18,096 have been cured while 849 have died. There are still 9412 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 486 critical patients out of which 174 are on ventilator support.

 

Maharashtra State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,60,924. Today, newly 6497 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 4182 patients have been cured today. Till now 144,507 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals while there are still 105,637 active patients in the state. Today, 193 people died taking the total deaths to 10482 till now.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8,78,254 across the country. Out of this, 553,470 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 23,174 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 301,609 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
