No PMPML buses in Pimpri-Chinchwad area from tomorrow
Pune, July 13, 2020: As lockdown has been announced in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad area from tomorrow till July 24, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has decided not to run buses in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) jurisdiction.
As per information provided by PMPML Transport Manager Anant Waghmare, “The PMPML bus service in PCMC jurisdiction will not continue from tomorrow due to the lockdown. As many as 80 buses were plying in 30 routes. Only essential service will be available. Even the pass centre will be closed.”
The administration has also decided to run only essential bus service in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) jurisdiction. The pass centre will be open in this area.
