946 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1065 Discharged Today
Pune, 29 June 2021: A total of 946 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1065 people were discharged from hospitals. 20 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9326 active patients in the district and 5326 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4000 are in home isolation. Out of 946 new cases, 268 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 218 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 69 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 26 in cantonments and 365 in rural areas.
Among the 20 deaths, five were in PMC, four in PCMC, two in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and nine in rural areas. Out of 1065 discharged patients, 232 were in PMC, 275 were in PCMC, 29 in municipal councils, 34 in cantonments, and 495 in rural areas.
