98 fresh COVID patients in Pune District today take total tally to 3232

Pune, May 13, 2020: District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar said that in the last 24 hours, there were 98 new Coronavirus patients reported in Pune district taking the total tally to 3232. Also, seven patients died while 175 were discharged after being cured. Out of a total of 3232 patients since 9th March when the first patient was detected, 175 people have died while 1533 have been cured and discharged from hospitals. There are 1524 patients still admitted to hospitals.

The 3232 patients include 2810 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 177 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 105 from Pune Cantonment, 27 from Khadki Cantonment, 2 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 111 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 7 from Baramati town, 2 from Baramati rural, 24 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 1 from Talegaon Dabhade, 43 from Haveli, 6 from Shirur, 1 from Junnar, 2 from Mulshi, 16 from Velha, 5 from Bhor, 1 from Indapur, 1 from Daund rural and 1 from Maval.

Across Maharashtra, there were 1495 new Covid-19 cases reported today. The state tally of COVID-19 positive patients is now 25,922. Out of the 54 deaths today, 33 were men and 21 women. Death toll in Covid-19 patients has now gone up to 975 in the state. 5547 patients have been discharged till date after full recovery.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total COVID cases across India has reached 74281 which includes 24385 cured and 2415 deaths and one migrated patient. There are still 47480 active patients admitted to hospitals.
