Lockdown: 80 people leave Pune for Jammu and Kashmir

Pune, May 13, 2020: District Collector Naval Kishor Ram today informed that three buses left Pune for Nagpur with 65 students and 15 citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. From there all these 80 people will go to J&K by train.

 

The central and state governments have decided to allow migrant workers, labourers and students stranded people to return to their native places with certain conditions. Accordingly, under the guidance of Pune City Tehsildar Tripti Kolte-Patil, Coordinating Officer Nita Shinde and Coordinating Assistant Vivek Jadhav did the planning for movement of the people.

 

Necessary action was taken by these citizens to fill up the form and get permission from the government. Also before the buses departed their health check-up was done. Food packets, drinking water were provided. They have been instructed to maintain social distance during the journey. All passengers were using a mask.
