Pune: Shivajinagar Gets 74.3 mm Rainfall, More Rain Likely To Come
Pune, 14th October 2022: Overall Pune city received around 3 cm =30 mm rain i.e. moderate rain on an average.
The roads in the central part of Pune along with some parts of Katraj, Hadapsar, Warje, and Pune-Nagar road and Vadgaon Dhayiri areas were flooded.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Shivajinagar got 74.3 mm rain while Lohegaon got only 0.2 mm, Chinchwad got 6.5 mm rain.
“Intense spell of rain created problem in low lying areas. More rains may come”, informed Anupam Kashyapi, Head of Weather Forecasting, IMD, Pune.
