Pune: Young Woman Kidnapped And Raped In Gujarat
Pune, 22nd October 2022: A person abducted a young woman and took her to Gujarat and raped her. After being released from the captivity of the accused from Gujarat, she directly reached the Yerwada police station and filed a complaint against the person, a case has been registered at the Yerwada police station.
A case has been registered against Zakir Ismail Zaveriwala (35), a resident of Gujarat. The victim is a native of Nepal and currently resides at Dhole Patil Road, Pune. She met Zakir on Instagram in November 2021.
He was reportedly already married yet still proposed to the girl for marriage and sexually assaulted her. He then took her to Gujarat. It was learnt that there he was already married to another girl. He kept the victim girl locked in a house in Gujarat and threatened to kill her by throwing acid at her.
Meanwhile, when Zakir went to meet his first wife, the victim freed herself from the place. After reaching Pune, Zakir called her from different numbers and threatened her. Tired of his repeated harassment, she directly reached the Yerwada police station and narrated the story of the abuse to the police.
A case has been registered against the accused in this case.
