Pune: Entry Ban For Travel Buses And Heavy Vehicles In Pimpri-Chinchwad City From October 21

Pimpri, 22nd October 2022: To solve the problem of traffic congestion caused by private travel buses, the entry of these buses has been banned on the route from Dapodi to Khadki. Entry of related travel buses and heavy vehicles has been banned from October 21 from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. The traffic police have requested that alternative routes should be used for these travel buses and heavy vehicles.

 

Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Bhoite has given orders regarding the same on Friday (October 22). Most of the private travel buses plying from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Pune cross the Harris bridge from Dapodi.

 

 

These buses run every evening during peak hours. Due to this, vehicles get stuck on the Khadki railway track which results in a traffic jam. Therefore, an order was issued to solve this traffic problem.

 

According to this, travel buses and heavy vehicles going to Khadki via Nashik Phata from Bhosari, Dighi, Alandi, and Sangvi traffic departments have been banned from going to Khadki and Pune via Harris Bridge at Dapodi.

 

Travels buses from Pimpri to Khadki will turn left from Nashik Phata and take a U-turn from CIRRT Gate via Nashik Phata flyover and take left from Mhasoba Chowk, Kokane Chowk, Jagtap Dairy Chowk and proceed to the desired destination via Aundh Road. Also from Nashik Phata turn left from the flyover at Bhosari then turn right from Jaiganesh Empire Chowk (Panjarpol Chowk) Alankapuram Society then turn right from Tapkir Chowk and proceed to the desired destination via Dighi-Vishrantwadi.
