Pune Records Lowest Temperature In Maharashtra Third Time This Season
Pune, 11th November 2022: Temperatures in and around Pune city are fluctuating rapidly, with the night minimum temperature dropping by three degrees celsius in a single day. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday (November 10).
Therefore, Pune recorded the lowest temperature in the state for the third time this season. Fluctuation in temperature will continue for the next few days. Similarly, Pune Observatory has expressed the possibility of partly cloudy weather in the city after two days.
From the last week of October, Pune city experienced a drop in temperature. Since then, the night minimum temperature has remained consistently around 13 to 14 degrees Celsius. Partly cloudy conditions are developing in some parts of the state after the influence of northeast monsoon winds from the south. Its effect is also visible to some extent in Pune and its surroundings. Therefore, the minimum night temperature is fluctuating to some extent. The minimum temperature in Pune city on Wednesday (November 9) reached 15.8 degrees Celsius. However, it decreased by three degrees in a single day. Therefore, Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday (November 10). This temperature became the lowest temperature in the state. The day’s maximum temperature also dropped to 30.6 degrees.
According to the forecast given by the Pune Observatory, the sky condition will remain clear in the city for one more day. This will increase the maximum daytime temperature to some extent. Similarly, the decrease in minimum night temperature will continue. The sky in the city is likely to remain partly cloudy from November 12. As a result, the minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to fluctuate.
Pune city had previously recorded a minimum temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius on October 30. This temperature was the lowest in the state and the city. After that, the lowest temperature was recorded in the state on November 3, also at 13.1 degrees. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius on November 10. This temperature has become the third-lowest temperature in the state this season. Interestingly, a decrease of 2.9 degrees was recorded in the minimum temperature compared to the average. This decrease is also the highest compared to other cities in the state.
