Wagholi: Young Motorist Killed In Head-On Collision On Pune-Ahmednagar Road
Wagholi, 30th April 2023: A young motorist lost his life in a head-on collision between two cars on the Pune-Ahmednagar road in the Kesnand area of Pune. The incident took place on April 26.
The deceased has been identified as Mayur Bhausaheb Bahirat, aged 25 and a resident of Kesnand, Haveli taluka. The accident also left four other individuals injured, including Yogesh Kenjale, Sarjerao Mane, Kiran Gawde, and Ajay Jadhav. They were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment and are currently under medical supervision.
According to the Lonikand police, Mayur was traveling on the Kesnand-Bakori road when the accident occurred. Another car carrying four individuals was leaving the city for Pune at the same time. The two speeding vehicles collided head-on, resulting in Mayur’s untimely death. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
