Cakeology 2024: World Record Cake Artist Prachi Dhabal Deb Set to Wow as Head Judge
Pune, 26th December 2023: Cakeology, India’s premier cake show, has been delighting dessert enthusiasts since its inception in 2016. This confectionery extravaganza has not only captured the hearts of cake aficionados across the country but has also earned international acclaim, securing the Best Cake Show award in Birmingham at the Cake Masters Awards in 2022.
Adding a sweet twist to the upcoming Cakeology show in Bengaluru from January 19th to 21st, 2024, is the announcement of new Head Judges—Pune-based Prachi Dhabal Deb and Rhianydd Webb from the United Kingdom. She will be head judge for shows in Mumbai, Bengaluru and other cities also.

Prachi Dhabal Deb, a familiar face in the Cakeology family, has been an integral part of the judging panel since the show’s inception. Her journey in the world of cake artistry is nothing short of extraordinary. Hailing from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, Prachi’s educational journey took her from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where she completed her schooling, to Kolkata for her college education.
Prachi’s prowess in cake decoration extends beyond her judging duties. With a string of remarkable achievements, she holds three world records certified by the World Book of Records, London. These records include a stunning 100 kg cake structure inspired by the Milan Cathedral, a feat for the maximum number of vegan royal icing structures, and an awe-inspiring 200 kg edible structure of an Indian-inspired palace created with vegan royal icing.
