EPFO’s ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ Initiative Marks One-Year Milestone in Pune District

Pune, 29th January 2024: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched its new initiative, “Nidhi Aapke Nikat,” aimed at bringing PF services closer to the members and beneficiaries of the EPFO. On the occasion of completing one year of NIDHI AAPKE NIKAT from its launch, EPFO congratulates all its subscribers, stakeholders, and pensioners for their active participation in promoting this outreach program successfully.
“Nidhi Aapke Nikat” translates to “PF Near You,” representing EPFO’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and convenience for all stakeholders, subscribers, and pensioners. The initiative aims to simplify and streamline various processes, ensuring that EPFO services are easily accessible to members across the country.
NIDHI AAPKE NIKAT 2.0, as a District Outreach Program today, was jointly conducted by EPFO & ESIC Regional Office Akurdi Pune-2 on the premises of M/s GARWARE TECHNICAL FIBRES LTD, PLOT NO 11, BLOCK D1, MIDC CHINCHWAD, PUNE, MAHARASHTRA.
During the event, information was shared among the subscribers, stakeholders, employers, and pensioners on various PF and Pension related issues, such as Grievance Filling & Mechanism, Fraud Prevention, Digital Signature Certificate registration, the procedure of filling E-nomination, updating contractor/principal employer on PE portal, updating Digital Life Certificate, filling the process of various online claims such as Form 10D, Form 19 & 10C, Form 5(IF), Form 13, for transferring their PF accumulation from one member id to another member id, and more importantly, the procedure of filling a partial withdrawal claim through Form 31 and its benefits, seeding of KYC, etc.
Any other PF-related issues and queries raised during this program were addressed, with special focus given to seeding of KYC and Member Profile Correction or updating.
As the aforementioned program is a joint venture of EPFO/ESIC as part of the Suvidha Sangam initiative, ESIC officials attended the program to redress the grievances of workers/beneficiaries on the same day under one roof. K Ravindra Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-I, made an appeal, especially to all stakeholders and establishment representatives, that before forwarding/submitting claims in respect of deceased members, all documentation and procedures should be followed properly in consultation with respective EPFO offices for their immediate disposal. Manoj Mane, Regional PF Commissioner-II, also attended the program and elaborated on the filling process of KYC and their updation.
About the new initiative undertaken by EPFO, Rahul Baravkar- IR head, D.V. Kulkarni- HR REPRESENTATIVE, VIVEK KULKARNI President Plant operations, and Shri Premal Dagli of M/s Garware Technical Fibers Ltd Chinchwad Unit, “Nidhi Aapke Nikat is a significant step towards enhancing the ease of service to PF members.” “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” is a testament to EPFO’s commitment to modernize its operations, embrace digital transformation, and foster a member-friendly ecosystem. Nodal Officer of this program Susan Mudaliar, Enforcement Officer, along with Annie Joseph Account Officer, Alok Kumar, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Hemraj Mejra, and the team of PF officials also attended the aforementioned program.
